Why join us? --- An easy question to answer!
We, in Reading, are succeeding in building a close-knit community where people really get to know each other. In reality this means that you become members of an extended family - we share in each other joys, sorrows and most of all simchas! Age is no barrier to joining in; no function would be complete without our friends from the community joining with us to celebrate anything and everything! To apply for membership the applicant must be a halachically (legally) othodox Jew, that is a practicing othodox Jew, or one who’s mother is Jewish with traceable orthodox antecedents. Note however, we have members who span the full range of religious observance and attendance of services including families where only the mother is Jewish.
